Dan Martin

Dan Martin is Co-Founder and CEO of Solar Repower.  He started his solar career with an investment in SunLink in 2010.  Since that time he's been investing in various solar hardware and finance companies.  In 2015 he led a seed round in a battery software startup called Geli which was later acquired by QCells.  He founded Amped Solutions in 2017 to leverage Geli's software in California behind-the-meter C&I solar and energy storage projects.   Amped's focus remains the hospitality sector, and the company has built, financed, interconnected, owned, and operated multiple commercial projects in PG&E, SCE, and SDG&E Territories.  In 2024 Dan decided to dedicate his efforts to repowering older solar arrays, primarily those for growers and ag processors in the Central Valley of California.  The idea of Solar Repower is to take what is normally an 18 month project timeline and make it a 4 month process by leveraging existing sites and interconnection agreements.
